Open pdf files from the portal

How can I ensure that PDF files do not open in the browser?
 

Answer

In Edge and Chrome; you can do the following when you click on a link to a PDF file:
Initially; download the file; then click the arrow next to the downloaded file; and then click 'Always open in Adobe Reader'

If you then click on a PDF link from the Portal; it should be should open directly in Adobe.
