When clicking on a link to the Portal; the desired information does not appear but; for example the screen below:
Answer:
These are the options that can cause such a problem:
- A direct link is clicked; whose website is offline or the element referred to is no longer present in the new version. (This can be tested by entering the URL https://xxx.mavimcloud.com; then the Portal should appear).
- A direct link is clicked but the user has no rights to that publication (this can be tested by entering the URL https://xxx.mavimcloud.com; then the Portal should pop up).
- The credentials are automatically filled in from the cache by a previous browser login; but these are different credentials; this can be solved by starting an InPrivate window (CTRL+SHIFT+N) and logging in there.
- An internet/connection hiccup at the user (other websites do not work on that PC either; other users on another PC can access it).
- An internet/connection hiccup within the user's own network (other websites also do not work and other users on the same network cannot access it).
- A problem at Microsoft (several Portals have the problem).
