Portal - create embedded link

Portal - create embedded link Question : When a Tab is created on -- KA-01516

Question: When a Tab is created on the Portal; the message 'This content cannot be displayed in a frame' appears

Answer
External content can be displayed in the Mavim Portal via tabs (see also https://docs.mavimcloud.com/Portal/Topic?webdcv=w156d52c3919v74061&view=Description&source=d52c3919v74061&page=0&maximize=true&latest=true&focus=false );
this can be done with all links where the source allows the content to be shown in a third party application.

For PowerBI linking; this can be set up under the condition that the dashboard is made public.

To use a video from YouTube; an Embedded link must be created with only the video (so not all the YouTube stuff around it). You can do this as follows; open the video in Youtube; go to Share – Embed

The following HTML code will appear:

copy the part between src=" " (so in this example the URL will be:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/v_lZxEYGVs4?si=HrYcZcFEusGbuyEP )

To link to a SharePoint Video; you can generate the Embedded link as follows.
Open the video on SharePoint and choose Share – Embed Code

copy the part between src=" "
Now when you have the URL; open the Mavim Portal Administration screen; switch to the Tabs tab.and click New link to create the tab.
(don't forget to set the Sandbox to None)
A black and white box with white text<br><br>Description automatically generated
When the created tab is clicked on the Portal; the video will appear embedded .
