When are emails sent from the mavim portal

You want to know at which point the Mavim Portal will send an email. Which actions trigger an email to be sent?

Information

When certain events take place in the Mavim Portal; an email will be sent to users who involved in the Topics for which changes are made:

• When a web form or comment is added to a topic:
  • The person filling in the web form or comment receives a email
  • Any subscribers of the Topic for which the web form or comment are made receives a email
  • If it concerns a Task; the moderator of the Task
  • The recipient of the Task if a Task is created
  • Flows can also be configured to send emails on certain events

Note:

• When using the Mavim Portal in an Azure environment; it is imperative that the Time Zone is configured correctly. If not; it can take quite a lot of time before an email is sent.
• Mails are sent immediately but can take about 30 seconds to get to the recipient.
• The configuration of the Mavim Portal with respect to the sending of mails must be correct before emails can be sent.
