The Case Analyzer gives a detailed overview of the execution of activities per case identifier or variant id. It shows the process sequence of individual process activities. This helps you to understand what activities are executed and in which sequence. It can further highlight characteristics of activities on the cases level. You can also display additional information for each process step; such as unique resource; department; costs; or number of loops.
You also have the option to color process steps based on selected attributes. For example; you can highlight all process steps that have been performed automatically by the system or those that are costliest. This makes it easier and faster to find process anomalies.
Furthermore; you can use the Case Analyzer to answer compliance-related questions. For example; you can find out which process steps were carried out by which user to check whether there was a violation of duty.

In order to build up the Case / Variants Analyzer visual; you have to drag the required data fields into the respective buckets.

In the format tab you can modify and customize the Case Analyzer visual.
Formatting options
Display settings
In the Display settings submenu; you can adjust the default display settings for the Case / Variant Analyzer.
Index settings
Settings for the index fields of the individual process variants.
Chevron settings
Settings for the event fields of the individual process variants / case. If an highlight value is specified all highlight categories will be displayed.
Legend
Settings for the legend can be changed.
Target process settings
In the Target process settings submenu; you can adjust the default target process settings for the Case Analyzer.
