Discovery tab When you open up your Mavim Process Mining -- KA-01280

When you open up your Mavim Process Mining report; you land on the Discovery Page.
This report page is the starting point and the center of your process mining analysis and will help you to understand and analyze your business processes and to capture complete transparency about their execution.

On the Discovery Page; the Process Analyzer visual provides an overview on your process as a whole; all path and branches.

Discovery - Process Analyzer

With the Mavim Process Analyzer; your business process is visualized automatically in a process flow. The Process Analyzer visual is the most important Mavim Custom Visual. You can find it on almost every report page. The Process Analyzer's goal :

  • Show you different aspects of your process flow.
  • Evaluate and understand your as-is process performance including all paths and branches.
  • Enable you to filter for individual process steps or paths to gain deeper insights.

The process analyzer has edges and edge labels:

  • Edges means the paths of the process flow and connects the sequence of two activities together.
  • Edge labels provide essential information on each process step sequence and shows the duration and the frequency of the occurrence.

Discovery - Case Viewer

The Case viewer provides an important overview on each unique case and its sequence of activities that are executed in the process flow. Additional data attributes can be added to be shown in the Cases Viewer visual such as the resource and its rework count.

The Case Analyzer visual is by default disabled in the Discovery Page. It can be enabled on the bottom left of the report page by clicking on the CASE VIEWER toggle switch.
