Lead time tab

Lead time tab Loops and process automation likely affect lead times -- KA-01558

Loops and process automation likely affect lead times but there are more factors that impact the lead times in your process. On the Mavim Lead Time page you can analyze the duration of specific cases and variants in detail. Highlighted edges are those with a high duration idle time. Duration idle time is the throughput time between two activities excluding the activities’ execution time.

With the Mavim Process Analyzer you have the opportunity to take a closer look at the lead times in your process. You can investigate the distribution of your cases grouped by duration in a column chart. By clicking one or more bars of that chart you can activate the filtering options. On the right side there is the well-known navigation bar (similar to the other pages) including different visual filter and selection elements.

Lead Time report overview

1. Menu
Use the buttons in the menu to navigate between pages in the Mavim Process Mining report.
2. Cases by duration buckets
Use this filtering option to select cases that are categorized in a duration bucket (in days).
3. Lead Time calculator
With the Mavim Lead Time Calculator; lead times for individual sections in the process can be calculated. You can choose measuring points flexibly; to comprehend where exactly a process gets caught.
4. Duration
The average duration of the selected cases is shown.
5. #Cases
The number of unique case identifiers is shown and depending on your selection or filtering the gauge will show its corresponding amount of unique case identifiers.
6. #Activities
This shows the unique count of activities that are executed in your analysis based upon the event log.
7. #Variants
This shows the amount of unique process sequences from the total event log. Depending on the selection the gauge will show its respective amount of unique process variants.
8. Variant Filter
Select one or more Variant IDs to filter the Process Analzyer.
9. #Cases started between
Use this filter option to select a time period to filter the case ids.
10. Cases by duration in days
This shows you an overview of the cases grouped by duration in days. It can be used to filter your report page by cases grouped by duration days and trigger the Root Cause Analyzer to find out the influencing factors. The number of days per group is calculated dynamically.
11. Process Analyzer
With the Process Analyzer visual you visualize the process flow and all its variations.
12. Root Cause Analyzer
The Mavim Root Cause Analyzer helps you to identify the causes of process anomalies and behaviors; with showcasing you automatically generated principle insights. These insights enable you to directly derive actions against a process problem or identify the driving forces of positive process behaviors. The Root Cause Analyzer only starts an analysis; when you select a process behavior e.g. choose a behavior or an anomaly in a report element (table; pie chart; bar chart; etc.) or from the Mavim Process Explorer. Your selection then starts an AI-supported calculation of the causes.
13. Drillthrough
Use this button to apply certain filtering on the Compliance Analysis tab and include this filtering into another report page for further process analysis.
14. Reset
Use this button to reset all filtering options and start from scratch on this report page.
