The Process Analyzer visualizes your business activities automatically in a process flow. This visual is applied to many report pages where it will show you different aspects of your process flow. This helps you to evaluate and understand your as-is process performance including all paths and traces. The Process Analyzer also enables you to filter for individual process steps or paths to gain deeper insights.
How to use
The slider in the Process Analyzer can be used to increase or decrease the complexity of the process picture by showing more or less variants. When you start analyzing you process; the slider control buttons are set to show only the top most common process variants and therefore represent a graph with less complexity. If you want to increase the complexity of your graph; adjust the slider control buttons. Hereby; you add more paths to the picture including nodes and edges. By enlarging the slider control buttons you can see the complete picture of the process for all your cases and variants.In case you are only interested in the less common variants of your process; you can also keep the slider to a small minimum. To evaluate the window of processes between the two extremes; you can shift your set slider and move the bar in both directions.

Build the visual
In order to build up the Process Analyzer visual; you have to drag the required data fields into the respective buckets.
Required data fields
At least the data fields activity ; activity_to and variants from the eventlog table must be added to the visual. Then the process graph is drawn.
Optional data fields
Add these data fields to the visual to display additional meta date in the process graph
Format the visual
In the format tab you can modify and customize the Duration Card visual.
The Process Analyzer visual can be formatted to include various options and layout functionalities.

In this submenu you can adjust the settings regarding process nodes settings.
Graph layout
In this submenu you can adjust the settings regarding the graph layout.

In this submenu you can adjust the settings regarding the legend in the Process Analyzer.
Formatting for duration
In this submenu you can adjust the settings regarding how the durations within the graph should be displayed. Each setting can be applied to a transition or tooltip.
Swim lanes
In this submenu you can adjust the settings regarding the swim lanes layout in the process graph.
