Delete a Mavim Manager database

You can delete a Mavim Manager database yourself from the Mavim Connect Center (MCC). This article explains the steps and important considerations.

Steps to delete a database

  1. Log in to the Mavim Connect Center (MCC).

  2. Navigate to Mavim Manager > Databases.

  3. Select the database you want to delete and click Delete.

    ⚠️ A database can only be deleted if no users are assigned to it.

  4. Remove all users from the database if necessary.

  5. Confirm deletion by typing the exact name of the database

  6. Click Delete.

The database will now be removed.

Backup and restore

  • A backup of the deleted database is automatically stored for 90 days.

  • If you need to restore the database within this period, send a request to the Mavim Service Desk.

Important notes

  • Double-check that you selected the correct database before confirming deletion.

  • Once deleted, the database cannot be accessed unless restored from backup.
