Error AADSTS50105 – User Cannot Be Registered in Mavim Portal

If a user receives the error message AADSTS50105 when trying to log in to the Mavim Portal, it means the user has not been granted access to the application in Microsoft Entra ID.

 

Why does this happen?

Your organization has configured extra security for the Mavim Portal by restricting access to a specific group in Microsoft Entra ID. Only users who are part of this group (or explicitly assigned to the application) can log in.

How to resolve it:

  • Contact your IT department or Microsoft Entra administrator.
  • Ask them to:
    • Add the affected user to the group assigned to the Mavim Portal application.
    • Alternatively, assign the user directly to the application in Microsoft Entra ID.

Once the user is properly assigned, they should be able to log in without encountering the AADSTS50105 error.
