How to add a SAP transaction in Mavim Connection Manager
Target audience:
Users who need to link SAP transactions to Mavim topics for process documentation and integration.
Purpose:
This article explains how to add a SAP transaction in the SAP Connection Manager so it can be coupled with Mavim topics.
Prerequisites:
- Access to the SAP Connection Manager in Mavim.
- The correct SAP transaction code, system name, client ID, and language settings.
Steps to add a SAP transaction:
1. Open the SAP Connection Manager
Choose one of these options:
- In the ribbon, select Tools tab > Web section > External connections website > SAP...
- In the ribbon, select Edit tab > Couple Topic With section > SAP...
- Right-click a Mavim topic and select Couple Topic with > SAP...
2. Create a new SAP transaction
- Click New...
- In the screen that appears, enter the following details:
- Transaction: The SAP transaction code you want to open.
- Title: The name that will display in the Mavim website.
- System: The SAP system name.
- Client ID: The client information for logging into SAP.
- Language: The language for the transaction.
3. Confirm
- Click OK when all fields are completed.
- The transaction will appear in the right-hand section of the Connection Manager.
