How to create, edit, and delete M3 screens in Mavim Connection Manager
Target audience:
Users who manage M3 screens in Mavim and need to add, update, or remove them.
Purpose:
This article explains how to create new M3 screens, edit existing ones, and delete screens in the M3 Connection Manager.
Prerequisites:
- Access to the M3 Connection Manager in Mavim.
- The correct Program Code for each M3 screen (ask your system administrator).
Steps to modify M3 screens:
1. Open the M3 Connection Manager
Use one of these options:
- In the ribbon, select Tools tab > Web section > External connections website > M3...
- In the ribbon, select Edit tab > Couple Topic with > M3...
- Right-click a Mavim topic and select Couple Topic with > M3...
2. Create a new M3 screen
- Click New...
- In the screen that appears:
- Enter the name of the M3 screen.
- Enter the Program Code (must be unique in the list).
- Click OK.
- The new M3 screen will be added to the list.
3. Edit an existing M3 screen
- Select the M3 screen you want to modify.
- Click Edit...
- In the screen that appears:
- Update the name of the M3 screen.
- Note: The Program Code cannot be changed.
- Click OK.
4. Delete an M3 screen
- Select the M3 screen you want to remove.
- Click Delete...
- The screen will be deleted and removed from the list.
Important notes:
- The OK button when creating a new screen is only enabled if the Program Code is unique.
- Always confirm with your system administrator for the correct Program Code.
