How to export an internal file from a relationship in Mavim

Target audience

Mavim users who need to download internal files linked to topics but do not have access to the Objects branch in the tree.

Core purpose/goal

To guide users through exporting an internal file directly from a relationship in the Relationships screen without navigating to the Objects branch.

Steps to export an internal file

1. Open the Relationships screen

   • Navigate to the topic that has a relationship with an internal file.

2. Locate the internal file relationship

   • Look for the relationship that is coupled with an internal file.

3. Open the context menu

   • Right-click the relationship.

4. Select Export internal file

   • Choose the option to export the internal file.

5. Save the file

   • A dialog will appear allowing you to select a destination folder.
   • Confirm and save the file to your desired location.

Important notes

• This function is only available for relationships linked to internal files.
• Exporting does not remove or alter the original internal file in Mavim.
• You do not need access to the Objects branch to perform this action.
