How to export Dynamics connections to Excel

This article explains how to export selected Dynamics connections from the Dynamics Connection manager into an Excel sheet.

Key information and steps to include

Open the Dynamics Connection manager

You can open the Dynamics Connection manager using any of these options:

In the ribbon, select the Tools tab, go to the Web section, and choose External connections website > Dynamics…
In the ribbon, select the Edit tab, go to Couple topic with, and select Dynamics…
Right click a Mavim topic, select Couple topic with, then choose Dynamics…

Export the selected Dynamics connections

After the Connection manager opens:

Select the Dynamics connections you want to export
Click Export…
A save window appears
Navigate to the folder where you want to store the Excel file
Click Save

Excel opens automatically, and the exported results are displayed.

Important notes

Only the selected Dynamics connections are exported.
Excel must be installed on your computer for the export file to open automatically.
