How to export M3 connections to an Excel sheet
Target audience:
Mavim users who need to export selected Infor M3 connections for reporting or sharing purposes.
Purpose:
This article explains how to export a selection of M3 connections from the M3 Connection Manager to an Excel sheet.
Prerequisites:
- You must have access to the M3 Connection Manager in Mavim.
- Ensure the connections you want to export are visible and selected.
Steps to export M3 connections:
1. Open the M3 Connection Manager
You can access the M3 Connection Manager in three ways:
- In the ribbon, select Tools tab > Web section > External connections website > M3...
- In the ribbon, select Edit tab > Couple Topic with > M3...
- Right-click a Mavim topic, open the context menu, and select Couple Topic with > M3...
2. Select the M3 connections
- In the Connection Manager, choose the connections you want to export.
3. Click Export...
- This opens the export dialog.
4. Choose the save location
- Navigate to the folder where you want to save the Excel file.
5. Click Save
- The export process will complete, and Excel will automatically open to display the exported data.
Important notes:
- The exported Excel sheet will include all selected M3 connections.
- Verify the data in Excel after export to ensure accuracy.
