How to use the search function in the Fields Usage screen

This article explains how to use the search function in the Fields Usage screen to filter results and find specific items efficiently.
Steps to use the search function
- Open the Fields Usage screen (see How to use the Fields Usage screen).
- Navigate to the section where you want to search:
- Top section: All fields in the database.
- Bottom left section: Field sets associated with the selected field.
- Bottom right section: Topics associated with the selected field set.
- Press Ctrl + F on your keyboard.
- The search box for that section will appear.
- Enter your search term.
Example: Typing Custom filters the list to show only items containing the word “Custom.”
Why this is useful
- Quickly locate fields or field sets in large databases.
- Saves time when managing complex structures.
Important notes
- The search applies only to the section you have selected.
- Filtering is dynamic; results update as you type.
