Mavim will not check a chart for consistency with the rules of the chart type when you save the chart ‘under construction’. When a chart is saved under construction, any action you have performed in the chart since the last save will not be transferred to the database.
You can save a chart as under construction by opening the context menu on the drawing and selecting Save as 'under construction'.
When a chart is saved under construction, the colour of the chart icon is different:
· Consistent chart: 
· Chart that is saved 'under construction': 
When creating a version, charts that are saved under construction will register as inconsistent charts if they are not consistent with the contents of the database. For more information.
