Topics appear without a name when opening the database

When you open a database, you may see all topics displayed without a name. This usually indicates that the topics were created in a different data language.

Why this happens

Topics in Mavim are stored with a specific data language. If your current session is set to a different language, the topics will appear without names. 

How to fix missing topic names

  1. In Mavim, go to the menu Tools > Data.

  2. Change the data language to the language used when the topics were created (for example, Dutch or English).

  3. The topics will now appear with their correct names.

Important notes

  • Always check in which data language the database was originally created.

  • Switching to the correct data language will resolve the issue immediately.
