How is the date format determined when exporting feedback?
When you export feedback from the Portal to Excel, you may notice that the date appears in a different format. For example, in the Portal you see 12-4-2023 (Dutch format), but in Excel it shows as 12/4/2023 (US format).
Why does this happen?
The date format in the export depends on the language settings in the Portal.
-
If the Portal is set to Dutch, dates are exported in the Dutch format (dd-mm-yyyy).
-
If the Portal is set to English (US), dates are exported in the US format (mm/dd/yyyy).
How to adjust the settings
-
In the Portal, go to Settings.
-
Open the General tab.
-
Select Dutch under Language setting.
-
Save your changes.
If you change this setting to Dutch, dates will be exported to Excel in the Dutch format.
Important notes
-
Excel may sometimes automatically adjust date formats based on your system language or regional settings in Excel. If you still see differences, check those settings.
-
The Portal always follows the Portal language setting, not an individual user’s preference.
