How to download files from Mavim Cloud to your local environment

This article explains how to copy files from Mavim Cloud to your local environment using TempDisk.

Step 1: Open File Explorer in Mavim

  1. In Mavim, go to Tools > File Explorer.

  2. An Explorer screen will appear.


Step 2: Copy the file to TempDisk

  1. In the Explorer screen, browse to the H:\ or S:\ drive and locate the file you want to download.

  2. Drag the file to TempDisk.


Step 3: Save the file locally

  • Once dragged to TempDisk, your browser will handle the download. Depending on your browser settings:

    • You may be asked where to save the file (Save as) so you can choose a folder on your computer.

    • Or the file will be saved automatically in your Downloads folder.


Tip: Download publications directly

When creating a new Word publication in Mavim Cloud, choose TempDisk as the save location. The file will immediately be downloaded to your local environment.
