How to Fix an Internal Server Error When Changing Something on the Portal
If you receive an error when trying to make changes on the Mavim Portal, the issue is often related to your browser’s cache or session data.
Things to check:

Try a Different Browser
Open the Portal URL in another browser (e.g., Firefox, Edge, Safari). -
Use an InPrivate/Incognito Window
- Shortcut: CTRL + SHIFT + N
- This bypasses cached data and cookies.

Clear Your Browser Cache
Cached files can cause outdated or corrupted data to load. Clearing the cache ensures fresh content is loaded from the Portal.
How to Clear Cache (Per Browser):
Google Chrome
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear browsing data.
- In the Basic tab, check Cached images and files.
- Uncheck other options.
- Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
- Click the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
- Click Clear Data, check both options, and click Clear.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
