How to open the Mavim website directly as an app in full screen

You can make the Mavim Portal open directly as an app so it runs in a separate window and uses the full screen. This can be done in both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the Mavim Portal in Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the three dots menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Go to Apps > Install this site as an app.

  4. Enter a name for the app (for example Mavim Portal) and click Install.

  5. The site now opens as an app.

  6. In the taskbar, right-click the Mavim Portal icon and choose Pin to taskbar.

Now you can open the portal directly by clicking the icon, and the start page will appear in full screen.

Google Chrome

  1. Open the Mavim Portal in Google Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Go to More tools > Create shortcut.

  4. Enter a name for the app (for example Mavim Portal).

  5. Check Open as window and click Create.

  6. The site now opens as an app.

  7. In the taskbar, right-click the Mavim Portal icon and choose Pin to taskbar.

Now you can launch the portal directly as an app, with your configured start page displayed in full screen.
