Steps to Create a Pre-Filled Email Link in Mavim Portal

Create a Subject in the ‘With What’ Category

• In Mavim Manager, go to the relevant process description.
• Add a subject under the ‘With What’ category and choose the ‘E-Mail’ option.
  
  
  

Generate the Mailto Link

• Visit https://mailtolink.me 
  
• Fill in:
  • To (e.g., Jan.klaasen@sprookjesbos.com)
  • Subject (e.g., Request)
  • Body (e.g., This is the text that will be placed in the email)
• Click ‘Copy Code’ to get the mailto link:

  mailto:Jan.klaasen@sprookjesbos.com?subject=Request&body=This%20is%20the%20text%20that%20will%20be%20placed%20in%20the%20email
  

Insert the Link in Mavim Manager

• Paste the mailto link into the Email relationship field 
  
  
  

Publish to the Portal

• Create a new version and publish it.
• When users click the link in the Portal, their default email program will open with the pre-filled email.
